23rd August 2010 : Copies of Basil Burkes Books "Kiltimagh Remembered" are available through Basil's Website. www.kiltimaghremembered.com  The books are a comprehensive compilation of events and photographs of the Kiltimagh area and its people over many years.

9th July 2010 : Work is well underway on the restoration of the Old Schoolhouse on Circular Road as part of its restoration to an Artists Retreat. Work is being carried out by Tarpey Construction Ltd. The funding has been provided by IRD Kiltimagh Ltd and Mayo North East LEADER Partnership Company under the LEADER Programme. We would welcome applications by way of a letter or email from potential occupants with a vies to doing a retreat anytime from October 2010 onwards.

14th June 2010 : We are delighted to welcome our latest tenants to Enterprise House. MD Roof Services Ltd. is a new company whose promoters have decades of experience of the roofing industry. The new project will specialise in all things to do with roofing, including installations, maintenance and repairs. More information can be had from their website www.mdroofservices.com. We wish them every success in their new venture.

14th June 2010 : IRD Kiltimagh Ltd is now looking to receive expressions of interest from Artists who wish to be considered for a residency in the new Artists Retreat which we expect to be operational in October or November of this year. If you are an artist interested in such a residency, please drop us a email from the contact page of our website. All artistic disciplines will be considered.

21st May 2010 : We have secured funds to refurbish the Old Schoolhouse on Circular Road (Behind AIB) into a modern Artists Retreat facility, with living accommodation and workshop/studio areas. Work is expected to commence in the coming weeks and we hope to be operational by the end of September.

19th May 2010 : Other Voices Theatre Company presents "We are for the dark", three one-act plays encompassing a gamut of emotions from joy to despair experienced by three very different women, in the Town Hall Theatre, Kiltimagh on Thursday 27th May at 8.30. Tickets are available at the door and are priced at €12 with concessions at €10. Doors open at 8.00 p.m

12th May 2010 : The Town Hall Theatre will be alive with the sound of international trad group Gráda tomorrow night (Thursday 13th May) at 9.00. They are joined on stage by Emma O Sullivan, sean nós dancer and finalist in the All Ireland Talent Show. Doors open @ 8.30 and tickets are at the door.

23rd March 2010 : Hearty congratulations to the students and staff of the St. Louis Community School on the winning of the All Ireland Basketball Final. Well done one and all. Its a great achievement. We are all very proud of you.

22nd March 2010 : IRD Kiltimagh Ltd has secured funding from the Mayo North East LEADER Partnership for the erection of tourist information boards at various locations around the town.

18th March 2010 : Don't forget the next show in the Town Hall Theatre. The Confessions, the Truth and the Lies of an Old Reprobate tomorrow (Friday) Night, 19th March at 8.30 p.m.

17th March 2010 : Congratulations to the Kiltimagh Tourism Association and all involved with the St. Patricks Day Parade particularly Nancy Lavan, it really was a credit. 16th March 2010 : Happy St. Patricks Day to all our fans and also to our many visitors to Kiltimagh. Parade at 3 p.m. on St. Patricks Day. Not to be missed.

3rd March 2010 : The Development Plan for Kiltimagh will be discussed by Mayo County Council at its meeting next Monday. The approval of this document will guide and support the development of the Kiltimagh area for many years to come. A most important day for the area!

2nd March 2010 : A gentle reminder that the "Disappearance of the Railway Hostel" -  A video documentary on the closure of the Railway Hostel, and its impact on Kiltimagh and the residents there has been produced by Vukasin Nedeljkovic. The premiere of this documentary will be in the Town Hall Theatre, Kiltimagh on Thursday 4th of March, 8pm Admission is free and all are welcome to attend.

1st March 2010 : Hearty Congratulations to Tommy Marren and all the cast and crew of the Banshee of Crokey Hill. A brilliant show that attracted crowds of 140 people to the Town Hall Theatre on both Friday and Saturday Night last. Well done to all and thank you for choosing the Town Hall for your performances.
