St. Patrick's Week Festival
Since 1987 in Kiltimagh, Co. Mayo, St. Patricks day has evolved to become a week long
celebration of Irish tradition and culture. In 2003, the Quaker City String
Band from Philadelphia
visited Kiltimagh for the 16th time, adding international flavour and
colour throughout the week. We look forward to welcoming them back for
2004. Visiting bands from Europe, join with various Irish Bands to create a fun filled
festival for everyone. The festival programme also includes Concerts, Mayo
Pub Tour, Fishing Competitons, Table Quizes, Exhibitions, Drama and a wide
range of evening entertainment. The highlight of the festival is our ever
expanding parade, and with over 40 floats and many bands, our St. Patrick's
Day Parade is one of the biggest and best in the West.
